Vistabella Friday 5th March
The cold weather returned for our March outing to Vistabella with a stiff cold wind making good scores thin on the ground.
However, a couple of seasoned members managed to card decent scores considering the conditions, “Well Done”. After the round it was back to the Clubhouse Clapton’s Bar. Chris served up a welcome chilli and chips for the 38 members and guests. After we had all thawed out the usual fines raised a record 45 euros and then it was on to the presentation.
A special thanks must go to Alan Venables (the treasurer) as he was without his able assistant Phyllis. Not only did he cope with all the green fees thrown his way and settling the bill with Vistabella, but he managed to card 30pts gaining 4th place and didn’t have Phyllis to club him well done Alan.

1st Simon Winston 34 points. 2nd John Stones 32 points. 3rd Chris Gridley 31 points. 4th Alan Venables 30 points.
