At a time when businesses on the Costa Blanca need a bumper tourist season, it has been announced that one million euros has been cut from the region’s promotional budget. Unsurprisingly, the news has been attacked by hoteliers in the region. Budgetary restrictions by both central and regional Valencia governments mean that almost a million euros less will be spent in promoting the Costa Blanca internationally this year.
