The Costa Blanca just got a whole lot hotter with the development of the very first fully dedicated chart station and it’s the one everyone is talking about.
Vibe Fm has given the Costa the kind of fun, easy listening sound that so many people have been crying out for and the ‘Vibe’ has firmly plugged the gap in the market with listeners tuning in to the station in their masses. Major expansion plans are continuing throughout 2010 and 2011, and with the largest coverage of any station in the area to date – the station is now set to cover the entire Costa Blanca by the end of 2010.
Launched at the end of the summer 2009, Vibe first offered its new fun sounding service from La Marina before quickly moving on to cover Alicante City from its studios in Gran Alacant on 108fm. With heavy investment Vibe has just made another major move and can be heard from Torrevieja south up to the far side of Alicante city and inland across the entire valley as far as Orihuela and Elche on 91.1fm. A third transmitter site is expected to come online shortly in Torrevieja south.
The very professional sound of the entire service was reported to be a combination of over three years planning.
The Vibe station in general really is an entertainment station with all the fun and features you would expect from such a high level service, and it is very clear Vibe will be the hottest station on the Costa this summer with yet more investment into the station’s summer planning.
Vibe have just purchased a purpose built Outside Broadcast unit that will cover a large amount of major events throughout the Summer including The CoastRider’s Beach Party which will be broadcast live for the first time ever.
Vibe is also behind this year’s first Unsigned Music festival being held along side this year’s La Marina Fiesta.
The Vibefest event is set to showcase the very best unsigned artists and groups and is also set to be broadcast Live over the entire weekend. As if all that was not enough Vibe has also secured the hottest new boyband to appear on the Costa this Summer before their main release in the UK.
Acce$$ All Area$ is an international four piece boyband with members from the USA, UK, Venezuela & Ireland and are set to cause a real stir in Spain in what is set to be the hottest summer in the music scene here in a decade.
