The Venue, Guardamar, is holding a twelve-hour fundraising extravaganza with all proceeds going to the Haiti appeal. The event will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 10 February, from 12noon until 12 midnight and will be fun filled day of food, drink and entertainment.
All of the local performers have given their time free of charge to ensure that as much money as possible goes to where it is needed most, in Haiti. The day will see back-to-back entertainment by well-known and well-liked performers including Cathy Carson, and Everly Brothers tribute and to get everyone’s feet tapping there’s a jazz ensemble.
Food will include a day time BBQ as well as the restaurants usual menu of meals and snacks for those who have worked up an appetite dancing the night away.
